Attar is a concentrated, oil-based fragrance traditionally made from flower, wood and spice extracts and worn directly on the skin. Spray perfumes are usually diluted in alcohol, so they project strongly at first and often fade sooner. Attar sits closer to the skin and unfolds slowly through the day.
